Digital transformation of the software delivery and operational teams for agility, for a bank in Jakarta
The need of the hour was digital transformation and to build Agile capability within the team. We worked with the bank across the 4 dimensions of transformation to design and establish a Digital Organization keeping the Individual at the center the transformation.
While there was a intent to build in agility, adoption was in pockets, Agile was viewed predominantly as delivery process change and not holistically. The presence of siloed organization functioning was a big hinderance in moving into a truly Digital format of working.
We designed and implemented a community-based & demand-focused organization structure. We focused on capability building for Digital Talent. Working with the senior leadership to define and roll out the change program, enabled us to implement a scalable and repeatable outcome focused set of process and practices for quality and customer centric software.
With a higher collaboration across teams and business, and an employee focused approach for better Talent engagement & retention, modeled to be a Learning Organisation. The focus on digital competencies enabled the bank build on needed competencies which led to the change in the waterfall way of working.
